Interiors with stories
yet to be told.
There are places we never truly leave. Not because they were the most luxurious — but because of how they made us feel.
A quiet boutique hotel overlooking the sea. A mountain chalet where conversations lasted long after the fire had faded. An apartment filled with books, collected objects and afternoon light. Or simply the home of someone we love.
Years later, we rarely remember every piece of furniture. But we remember the atmosphere. The warmth. The light. The silence. The feeling of wanting to stay just a little longer.
I've always been fascinated by that feeling. Not by decoration. Not by perfection. But by the invisible connection between people and the spaces they call home.
That fascination eventually became GENRI EVNA.

On atmosphere
The world is grey enough.
Home shouldn't be.
The world asks enough of us. It moves quickly. It demands attention. It often feels predictable. Sometimes even a little grey.
Home should be different. Not because every room has to be colourful — but because every room should make you feel something.
Comfort. Belonging. Curiosity. Warmth. Energy when you need it. Calm when you seek it.
A home should never simply look beautiful. It should restore you. It should inspire you. It should quietly remind you who you are.
No fixed aesthetic
There is no GENRI EVNA style.
One of the biggest compliments I could ever receive is that no two projects look alike. Because that means I listened.
Every person brings a different story. Different routines. Different memories. Different ambitions. Different ways of living. Why should their homes all look the same?
I don't design around trends. I design around the lives people actually live.
I don't want people to choose GENRI EVNA because they admire a recognisable aesthetic. I want them to choose GENRI EVNA because they want a home that could never belong to anyone else.
The goal has never been to leave my signature. The goal has always been to uncover yours.
More than Interior Design
Psychology before decoration. Listening before drawing.
To me, creating a home has always been an act of understanding before it becomes an act of designing. It is psychology before decoration. Listening before drawing. Feeling before styling.
That is why every collaboration begins with The Character Session. Not because I need measurements. Or Pinterest references. Or a preferred design style. Those things come later.
First, I want to understand the people who will wake up there every morning, gather around the dining table, celebrate milestones, raise families or simply find peace after long days.
Only then does the design begin. And only then can a house become a home that truly belongs to the people living inside it.
Discretion
Discretion is part of the work.
Some of the most meaningful projects may never appear on this website.
A home is one of the most personal places someone will ever create. For that reason, every project is treated with the same care, trust and discretion — whether it is shared publicly or remains entirely private.
Not every story needs to be told. Some are simply meant to be lived.

“A home should be the most personal thing you ever build.”
Like the finest wood, a beautiful home only gets better with time.
