How I Work

Every home has its own rhythm.

No two projects begin in the same place. There is no universal timeline. No fixed formula. The steps below offer a glimpse of how I usually work — always adapting to the pace, ambitions and individuality of each project.

  1. 01

    The Character Session

Every collaboration begins with conversation. Not because measurements are needed — but because the people behind the project come first. Routines. Aspirations. Favourite places. Memories. The way you live today and how you hope to live tomorrow. Only when the person is understood can the home be understood.

  2. 02

    Proposal

Following The Character Session, an individual proposal is prepared, tailored specifically to your project. No predefined packages. No standard scope. Every proposal reflects the size, complexity and ambitions of the project, allowing each collaboration to remain entirely individual.

  3. 03

    Design Direction

Once we begin working together, the creative direction of the project takes shape. Atmosphere, materials, colour palettes, references — the overall feeling the home should evoke. Rather than rushing towards finished designs, I first develop a clear vision that guides every decision moving forward.

  4. 04

    Design Development

The ideas gradually become tangible. Layouts are refined. Materials selected. Furniture considered. Lighting carefully planned. Every decision builds on the previous one, until the project begins to feel complete long before it is built. Throughout this phase, our collaboration stays close and transparent.

  5. 05

    Sourcing & Coordination

Once the design is set, I coordinate the many details that bring it to life. From sourcing furniture and bespoke pieces to working with trusted suppliers, craftsmen and specialists — every element is overseen with care, so that the original vision is preserved.

  6. 06

    Styling & Handover

The final layer is often the most personal. Artwork finds its place. Books return to the shelves. Objects collected over a lifetime begin to tell their stories again. These are the details that turn a beautifully designed interior into a home that feels lived-in from the very first day.

Part of a wider team

Working alongside the professionals you already trust.

Many projects begin with a wider team already in place — architects, contractors, craftsmen, lighting designers, kitchen and bathroom specialists, landscape architects and other consultants. I join that team and shape the interior vision together with everyone involved.

My work covers interior concepts, creative direction, furnishing, styling, atmosphere, material selections and project coordination. Where specialist planning or regulated work is needed, it is always carried out by the qualified professionals responsible for it.

These interfaces are coordinated, never replaced.
